Construction Project: Chene Park—East/West Parcels
June 18, 2015 [DETROIT] - The colored concrete RiverWalk just east of Chene Park Amphitheater is now complete. The walkway is flanked with stainless steel benches, new lighting and freshly planted trees. Raised concrete flower beds and potted plants will provide a burst of color along the river’s edge this summer. To the west of Chene Park, newly installed stainless steel benches, light posts and a colored concrete walkway lead visitors into Milliken State Park & Harbor.
Visitors to each of these parcels can now take in pristine views of the Detroit River while strolling through lively, colorful landscapes.
