New Event Brings Music, Movies And More Under The Stars At West Riverfront Park

June 30, 2016 [DETROIT]— A new FREE entertainment series is bringing classic movies, music, food trucks and lawn games to West Riverfront Park for guests to enjoy under the stars this summer.
Riverfront Relaxin’ is a four-night series that begins July 14 with a performance by Larry Lee and the Back in the Day Band followed by a showing of the movie, "Purple Rain."
The series is presented by the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy in conjunction with Park Solutions. Event dates are July 14, July 28, August 11 and August 25 from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m., with the movie scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
West Riverfront Park is located at 1801 W. Jefferson, between Rosa Parks Boulevard and the Riverfront Apartments.
