Construction Project

The Conservancy will break ground this spring on the much-anticipated Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park. After the groundbreaking, contractors will focus on excavation for the installation of underground facilities and infrastructure. During this time, the Environmental Protection Agency will rebuild a portion of the seawall and also install a soft shoreline that will facilitate habitats for fish and other aquatic life.

Once complete in 2024, this 22-acre park will feature an expansive lawn for special events, basketball courts at the William Davidson Sport House, a large water garden and the Delta Dental Children’s Play Garden.
